Introduction Of District Giridih State Jharkhand : – By population Giridih district is third largest city of Jharkhand State later Dhanbad and Ranchi as per census of 2011. The total land covered by this district is 4854 km square. Jamui and Nawada district are placed in the north side of Giridih. From the east it is bounded by the district of Deoghar and Jamtara ,in south Bokaro and Dhanbad district are located and in the west direction Koderma and Hazaribagh district are lies. Giridih District has twelve blocks named are Giridih, Gawan, Gandey, Tisri, Bengabad, Deori, Pirtand, Jamua, Dumri, Dhanwar, Bagodar, and Birni.
